The Aqara Water Leak Sensor meets IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, guaranteeing its performance in humid and dusty environments. It works with other HomeKit-enabled accessories in the Apple Home app to make your life easier. When the water leak sensor detects a leak, it triggers the Aqara Smart Plug to turn off the solenoid water valve instantly, preventing further damage. Additionally, when the water level reaches 0.5mm, the sensor will trigger the Hub to sound an alarm and send a notification to your phone.

The outer shell of the Aqara Water Leak Sensor is made of anti-UV material, protecting it from discoloration. The sensor is also energy-efficient, with one battery lasting over 2 years under normal usage. An Aqara Hub is required and sold separately, and the sensor requires a secured 2.4 gigahertz WiFi network connection. The Aqara M2 or M1S Hub can connect up to 128 devices, with the use of a repeater such as the Aqara Smart Plug or Aqara Smart Wall Switch (With Neutral) required.

The Aqara Water Leak Sensor is designed to detect and respond to water leaks, sending alerts to your phone and activating the local alarm on the Aqara Hub to prevent further damage. It also integrates with other Aqara connected devices, allowing for home automation when excess water is detected. The ultra-mini design of the sensor allows you to place it anywhere that dripping and leaking could occur, and no wiring or screws are required for installation.
